Helping Families with Vital Support When They Need It Most
From food and clothing vouchers to baby equipment, children's beds, and primary school uniform vouchers, Variety offers essential assistance to families facing hardship. We receive daily requests from families, schools, government agencies, Women’s Refuge and more – which is why we endeavour to provide life-changing, practical support for those in need.
Providing Food Vouchers for Everyday Support
Variety understands the difficulties many parents face in meeting daily expenses, especially in low-income and single-parent households. To help ease financial pressure, we provide food vouchers, ensuring children have access to nutritious meals. These vouchers offer practical support, helping to reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing.
By working closely with social workers and community organisations, we reach those who need assistance most, offering a helping hand during challenging times. Our aim is to ensure every child has the essentials they need, allowing parents to focus on providing a stable and supportive home environment.
Supplying Clothing and School Uniforms
We know how quickly children grow up, which is why Variety helps ensure that children have everything they need by supplying clothing and footwear vouchers and Primary School uniform vouchers. These vouchers can be requested by schools, government agencies, social workers, or individual families who require financial assistance.
By offering this support, we help children feel comfortable, confident, and ready to engage in their education. Our goal is to remove barriers that prevent children from fully participating in school life, ensuring every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to essential clothing and uniforms to support their growth and development.
Variety at Work: Other Ways We Help
Other than food and clothing vouchers, we receive daily requests for a range of essential items. Variety provides donations towards baby vouchers for day-to-day necessities and equipment such as prams, cots, and highchairs, ensuring infants have a safe and comfortable start in life. We also assist with children’s beds, helping to create a secure and restful environment for growing children.
Additionally, we host an annual summer and Christmas party for children who may be who may be disadvantaged or have special needs, and their families. These events are enjoyed by everyone involved and are used as a time to come together and celebrate what we do.
