Variety at Work in July 2020
The month of July has been fairly busy with requests for the basic items of food, clothes, shoes and baby needs. We also provided help towards the cost of 2 pushchairs.
In addition to these items we purchased a minibus suitable to transport a wheelchair for a family with a profoundly disabled 5 year old child. The family needed a suitable vehicle as the child requires specialist transportation to access the daily assistance he requires. The cost of the vehicle was £10,500.
The totals for the month were 14 families with 33 children amounting to £11,438, including the cost of the vehicle. The totals for the ten months of this financial year are 500 plus families amounting to £52,054.
