Your help will improve a young life - very quickly and in a major way. We’re a small team. That keeps our costs down. But we need all the help we can get. 

Throughout each year, the Barkers (Members) and the Ladies of Variety hold monthly lunches with raffles. Annually, Variety hold an Annual Ball, Table Top Sales, a Grand Draw, themed Dinners and many many other fundraising events. Companies, members, friends and families make donations without which we could not meet the many demands on funds.

So, whether you want to become a member, fundraise, volunteer or donate, your offer of help will be received with open arms. The only people more grateful to you than the team at Variety, will be the local children whose lives you’re about to improve.

If you shop at any of the Co-op stores and wish to donate your dividend to Variety - the Children's Charity of Jersey, please give our share number 152 to the till operator, shop assistant or staff member when asked.

Remember Variety in your will

Legacies are a vital part of Variety’s income and a means of giving which is so often overlooked. 

To help increase awareness of this very beneficial way to donate, and to help explain the advantages and how simple the process can be, Variety UK has joined forces with Remember A Charity, the largest organisation of its kind in the UK working to promote legacy giving. 

Despite 35% of people saying they would consider including a gift to a charity in their will, after providing for their family and friends, only 7% actually do so.

Remember a Charity is dedicated to helping charities like Variety to increase the number of legacies they receive because they recognise the real difference that legacy income can make to the charities’ work. Please consider leaving a gift to Variety Jersey in your will.

Variety Grand Draw

Variety holds a Grand Draw every year. In 2023, the first prize was a brand-new Mercedes A180 and runners-up could win up to £10,000 in cash and lots of other fantastic prizes. Tickets are available to buy online through our website and are also sold through a number of Jersey businesses and by our remarkable volunteers in St Helier wherever an opportunity presents itself. The Grand Draw has been become an important part of Variety’s Fundraising Events and raises much needed funds.
