“Applications for help with food, clothes, shoes and baby items was particularly quiet during the month of January. At the request of a Social Worker, Variety provided a baby cot and mattress for a very low-income family.
In addition to the above our commitment to Happy Hatchlings Nursery & Playgroup in St Clement continues and architect fees, groundworks & temporary toilet hire have been paid for amounting to £3,119.91.
Ciaran Doherty, Senior Youth Worker approached Variety with proposals to refurbish/refresh the Cinema Room at Gorey Youth Club at an approximate cost of £2,289. The Ladies of Variety are delighted to confirm that they have agreed to fund this as one of their projects for 2025.
A 75” Samsung LED TV and Games Console have so far been purchased in January at a cost of £940.17.”
